Heber Utah Battery Recycling – Dunn Recycling

Heber Battery Recycling

With almost 100 million new lead acid car batteries being produced each year, keeping old car batteries out of the landfill and more importantly our land itself is a huge problem that we’re tackling in Heber.     an average battery contains 21 pounds of lead, a gallon of sulfuric acid and other heavy metals that need to be processed safely.

Dunn Recycling accepts car batteries at our Heber Location for Utah valley, Summit and Wasatch Counties.     We will buy your used car batteries by the pound.

Batteries are processed where the plastic, lead, sulfuric acid are all separated and recycled.     Plastic is melted down and used again to make more batteries.   Lead is also safely processed for use in more batteries.   The acid is processed and converted into sodium sulfate, which is used in glass making, laundry detergents and other products.

If you have any questions about recycling your car batteries,  please call our Heber Recycling Center at (435) 657-0696 or Come down and Visit us at 635 West Airport Road
