Recognizing Recyclable #2 HDPE Plastics

HDPE

HDPE Plastics

HDPE is also known as High-Density Polyethylene plastic, and is made from petroleum products.    It’s resistant to many different solvents and has a wide variety of applications, including:

  • Bottle caps
  • Fuel tanks for vehicles
  • Laundry Detergent bottles
  • Milk Jugs
  • Watering Cans
  • Folding Chairs
  • Hula Hoops
  • Plastic lumber
  • Plastic Bags
  • Storage Sheds
You don’t have to know what kind of HDPE plastics to bring them to Dunn Recycling.   Both our Heber and Orem recycling centers can help you out and make it easy.    Just stop into our office and we can help you in your recycling efforts.   The main thing is to separate your plastics to keep them out of the trash.    Bring them to us, and we will sort them and show you how to know the difference.
