Wire is Recyclable! Most wire contains copper and Aluminum, and most of it can be processed and used again. Dunn Recycling in Heber City Utah will take your wire and strip its insulation to get it down to its bare metal, so it can be processed and made into new wire or other copper or aluminum products.
There are 4 types of wire we currently purchase:
- Aluminum Wire
- Copper #1 Romex Wire – Such as what you use to wire a home with
- Copper #2 Wire
- Copper #2 Low Grade Wire
And as always, we will always accept wire and other metals for free at our Orem Recycling Center.
